Alterations to the Olympic bobsled track will now be made to enable safer and better racing, after 2 four-man bobsleds crashed during training yesterday.
Several of the trickier bends are to be shaved slightly, in particular a curve dubbed '50-50' will have about an inch of snow removed. These minor alterations should make the track easier to navigate.
The US coach said it would still remain the toughest track in the world. It will be fast but drivers will have a slightly wider margin for error.
