The Bingle/ Fevola saga continues and more fuel is added to the fire today as former Hawthorn star player Dermott Brereton claimed that Bingle knew Fevola was married before the pair started an affair. 

Brereton recalled meeting the model at a party in 2006 where she voiced her interest in Fevola to him and asked if he had a girlfriend to which he replied that he actually was married and his wife was standing beside him.

The story just keeps getting messier as Bingle has now threatened to sue Fevola for defamation and the AFL are getting increasingly frustrated at what appears to be a media circus controlled by Bingle's agent, Max Markson.

The AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou said that Fevola has already been interviewed by the AFL over the incident, but that Bingle's camp has repeatedly turned down requests for her to be interviewed.
