In Rugby Union this weekend is the start of the super 14s with the two main games being Blues $2.11 versus Hurricanes $1.71, and the Force $2.51 versus Brumbies $1.51 with Matt Giteau definitely not playing for the Brumbies. In Rugby League the Indigenous All Stars $2.15 versus NRL All Stars $1.66 is this Saturday night. In Cricket Cricket the 3rd ODI between Australia $1.23 versus West Indies $4.11.

The Super Bowl final between Indianapolis and the New Orleans Saints is on Monday 5th February with live coverage on ESPN from 10am. In cricket, Australia play the West Indies on Sunday 7th February at 7pm in the ODI from the MCG. In the English Premier League we have the game of the season between Chelsea and Arsenal, with major problems in the Chelsea camp over the John Terry saga.

This week we have the Men’s and Woman’s Singles Finals from the Australian Open, with Justine Henin coming into the Woman’s tournament as a wild card and has been backed for plenty to win the final. In the Men’s Andrew Murray will play the winner of Roger Federer and Jo Tsonga, and if Roger Federer wins its a wipeout for the corporate bookies along with the favourite Double Serena Williams into Roger Federer makes it a blackout. This weekend it hots up in Melbourne with the racing of the Lightning Stakes with Starspangledbanner the heavily backed favourite at $4-20.

The Australian Open Tennis Championship is starting to hot up with many of the top seeds still alive in the tournament.The best match on Saturday is between Lleyton Hewitt(1.86) and Marcos Baghdatis(1.91). In Cricket news we have the First One Day International between Australia and Pakistan starting this Friday. Australia is favourite here at $1.4 with Pakistan the $3.00 outsider. Friday night, Mooney Valley hosts the Group 2 Australia Stakes (1200m). Despite the $200,000 stakes on offer there are only five horses in the feature race.

This week the Sydney races are at Rosehill with the 2 yr old fillies and colts strutting their stuff, getting ready for the Golden Slipper. Gai Waterhouse has a couple of really nice 2yr old fillies racing in race 2 and it will be interesting to see how they go.

In the Cricket, what a game and what a finish by the Aussies to steal the match off Pakistan. This weekend all roads head towards the Gold Coast for the 2yo $2m BMW Magic Millions Classic over 1200m and the $1m 3yr Magic Millions Trophy over 1200m. The prize money is enormous for the whole racing card and trainers from all around Australia are trying to get there fingers in the pie.

This weekend’s the main race comes from Perth, the “Kingston Town Classic” with the two class horses of the race being ‘Scenic Shot’ and ‘Snipers Bullet’. The second Cricket test starts tomorrow from Adelaide Oval between Australia and the West Indies, with the West Indies looking to improve on there diabolical performance in the first test.

In racing this week we have the Railway Stakes in Perth with a lot of horses who have raced over the Melbourne Carnival chasing the good prize money on offer. In cricket, at the Gabba Australia take on the West Indies, Thursday 26th November, with Australia being the red hot favourites to win the first test. In the English Premier League soccer this weekend there are two crunch games with Liverpool playing host to Manchester City and Manchester United playing host to Everton. In the Rugby Union this weekend England take on the All Blacks and Scotland take on Australia, with Australia still coming to terms with Ireland snatching victory away with a last minute try on the bell to make that game a draw. Expect Australia to really come out firing and take their frustration out on the Scots.

This Saturday is the last day of the Flemington Racing Carnival. Punters won big off the bookies on Derby day but the bookies haven't stopped counting the money after Melbourne Cup day with not one favourite winning on Tuesday. The Emirates Stakes and the Queen Elizabeth Stakes are the 2 big races this Saturday with the successful carnival grinding to a halt.

This Saturday is the best quality racing for the whole year with 9 Group races in Flemington, with the top 3 placegetters in the Mackinnon Stakes exempt from the ballot for the Melbourne Cup. In the AAMI Victoria Derby over 2500m for 3 year olds Shamoline Warrior is the favourite but Rockferry is the horse the punters have really come for and will be a bookies nightmare if it wins.

With the AFL season finished and the mighty Geelong Cats being the 2009 Premiers, we now have the NRL Grand Final this weekend with Parramatta playing Melbourne on Sunday at 5pm. Who will win? To all you sports fans it will be hard getting off the couch this weekend with an abundance of fantastic sport to watch. In the NRL we are down to the finals series with the two lower rated teams who get beat this weekend meaning the end of the season for them. Brisbane vs Gold Coast, Bulldogs vs Newcastle, Manly vs Melbourne and St George vs Parramatta are this week's match ups. In the AFL we have two games in this weeks finals series West Bulldogs vs Brisbane and Adelaide v Collingwood.
